      Sister Fides in her Gough history said: "In 1911 Uncle Jim boarded a Lee Line boat in Uniontown (on the Ohis River) and came down south getting off at Osceola Arkansas."

      James Madison Gough died in the Little Sisters of the Poor in Nashville, Tennessee from Bladder and Prostate Cancer. His death certificate was signed by his daughter Madeline Gough Shedan who lived in Nashville. His death certificate says he would be buried in Osceola, Arkansas.

      I have not found his grave. Josephine is buried in the Ermen Cemetery, Osceola, Mississippi County, Arkansas. Findagrave does not have a memorial for James in the Ermen Cemetery. His obituary says he would be buried in Osceloa, Arkansas. He was likely buried next to his wife, Josephine.
