      Funeral services for Mrs. Velma Stout Goff Creasy, age 87, are scheduled for 11:00 A. M., Thursday, September 13, 2007 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Chester and Dr. Hoyt Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington Cemetery.

      Mrs. Creasy died late Monday in Jackson. She was born December 4, 1919 in Henderson County to the late Moe & Mary Ellen Stout. Mrs. Creasy's mother died when she was only one, so she was raised by her uncle and his wife, the late Oscar and Emma Goff. Mrs. Creasy was a homemaker and a member of Stringtown Pentecostal Church.

      She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. C. B. Creasy and a great grandson, Michael Riffle.

      Survivors include her two sons, Jimmy Creasy and wife, Peggy of Lexington and Bobby Creasy and wife, Darlene of Jackson; her daughter, Nancy Greenway of Lexington; seven grandchildren, Teresa Deere and husband, Greg, Paula Riffle, Susan Robinson and husband, Kenny, Dewayne Creasy and wife, Traci, Janna Trevisan and husband, Scott, Heather Castleman and husband, Alan, and Jacqueline Bradford; fourteen great grandchildren, Jeremy Rhodes, Jessica Deere, Cory Robinson, Dustin Riffle, Colton and Callie Creasy, Ashley and Lauren Helms, Paige and Zoe Castleman, Kristen James, Nicholas, Jesse, and David Bradford; four great great grandchildren, Amber and Benjamin James, Deron Riffle, and Haiden Riffle, and one sister, Mrs. Lois McPeake of Lexington. The family will receive friends today from 9:00 A. M. utnil 9:00 P. M. and tomorrow, 9:00 A. M. until time of service.
