    • Crossing the Dark River; Henderson County, Tennessee, Obituaries; 1827-1950 p. 469 GOFF, Linda Lou (The Lexington Progress, March 6, 1942) Death of Little Child: Linda Lou, little daughter of Mack Goff, of the Chesterfield community, died in the Memorial Hospital in Jackson Saturday after having had scarlet fever several weeks ago, and seemingly had recovered. The child, aged six years, was taken suddenly. Her body was taken to the home of W. F. Goff and from (sic) taken to New Hope Cemetery where Rev. G. G. Joyner conducted the services and interment was made.
