As a child he lived on the farm where his grandfather (Joseph McGill), g-grandfather (Richard McGill) and g-g grandfather (Joseph McGill - our common ancestor) once lived. Dad moved to California as a young man, and I was born here.

      Hi Mike,

      I'm glad to hear your not upset with me. Yes, that would be good to leave a few generations off if you are putting anything on the internet.
      As for Helen, this is what I believe it is. I didn't ask her of course but someone else kind of told it to me this way. First off, she didn't marry a Burch. Sounds like she never married. This is her parents & grandparents, I believe, not carved in stone though.
