      BURCH - Howard Thomas "Tip," 68, died Sunday, August 31, 2008 at his home. He is survived by his son, Michael Burch, of New Albany, IN; two daughters, Lisa Blocher of Minneapolis, MN and Tracy Burch of Scottsdale, AZ; a brother, Sam Burch, of Ekron; two granddaughters, Abigail Burch and Alexis Burch; and his extended family, Gail Pollock, of Ekron, Tammy Knight, Jill Pollock, Brian Pollock, Lee Pollock, Nick Night, Noah Knight, Blake Pollock, Chase Pollock, Paige Pollock, Mattie Pollock, Camryn Pollock and Layla Pollock. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Vine Grove, KY with Rev. Leo Craycroft officiating. Burial will be in the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church Cemetery in Flaherty, KY. The visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

      Howard Thomas "Tip" Burch, 68, Ekron, died Aug. 31, 2008, at his home. Mr. Burch is survived by a son, Michael Burch, New Albany, Ind.; two daughters, Lisa Blocher, Minneapolis, Minn., and Tracy Burch, Scottsdale, Ariz.; a brother, Sam Burch, Ekron; two granddaughters, Abigail Burch and Alexis Burch; and his extended family, Gail Pollock, Ekron, Tammy Knight, Jill Pollock, Brian Pollock, Lee Pollock, Nick Knight, Noah Knight, Blake Pollock, Chase Pollock, Paige Pollock, Mattie Pollock, Camryn Pollock and Layla Pollock. Funeral services were held Sept. 3 from the chapel of Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, Vine Grove, with Rev. Leo Craycroft officiating. Burial was in the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church Cemetery, Flaherty.
