Notes - Hi, Mike! There is a John Arnold Burch in our line. He was grandson of Walter and Teresa Hagan Burch, son of Francis and Elizabeth Hill Burch. John Arnold was born around 1820, and married Emily Manning on January 16, 1849 at St. Catherine Church in New Haven, KY. I'm attaching a photo of what used to be John Arnold's home. It's in the "back woods" of Larue County, close to New Haven, and is now used as a family hunting lodge. I don't know if this is the same John Arnold that you came across -but maybe the above info will help. Helen Burch
Mike, you've got it!! Frank Toon and several other folks wrote a book in 1969 on the descendants of Francis Burch. I am fortunate to have a copy, so looked through it quickly. Correction on birth day for John Anrold - June 8, 1822 (from family Bible). Rest is OK. Attached is a copy of a photo of John Arnold and family taken around 1877 (from Frank Toon's book).
