These guys migrated to central Kentucky like so many of their co-religionists, and descendants of Ignatius married siblings of one of my ancestors.

John's brother Rev. Robert Byrne (1792-1856) was resident pastor of the Holy Cross congregation in Kentucky.

This Rhodes family has a line of descent from the Gough Family of St. Mary's County, Maryland, and also had some members who migrated to Kentucky via Loudoun County, Virginia. John Abraham Rhodes (mentioned above) was a grandson of Abraham Rhodes of Fosbury Plains (in St. Mary's Hundred), St. Mary's County, Maryland, by his first known wife Mary Gough.
