CHARLES E. CISSELL SR., 81, of 222 S. Bayly, died at 2 P.M. Thursday at his home. Cissell was a self-employed carpentry contractor, and retired in 1957. Survivors include his wife, the former Mary Catherine Mattingly; six sons, Charles Leon Cissell of Jacksonville, Fla., Ralph, Earl, George, Joseph and William P. Cissell; four daughters, Mrs. Marvin Hurst, Mrs. Leon Miller, Mrs. James Logsdon and Mrs. Paul Bozian; 38 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 9 A.M. Monday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 1129 Payne, where he was a member, with burial in St. Michael Cemetery. The body will be at Bosse Funeral Home, Barret and Ellison, after 6:30 P.M. Friday.
