Notes - NONE of these have been proven to be siblings. However, they are all of the same age, same surname, born in NC, lived near each other and used the same first names (Rhodica, Matilda, Lewis, Edmund for their children. Edmond, Henry & Louis do show a DNA link to BARLOW). However, a 2017 autosomal DNA study showed them to have the same MRCA (most recent common ancestor) number so they are probably siblings.
Matilda GOFF CARPENTER lived near Edmund GAWF in Henderson Co., TN.
1880 the son & grandson of Edmund GAWF, George W. & John Lavender GAWF are in 1880 Sharp Co., AR (p. 111B), as is Matilda (111A). George migrated ca. 1850 (census & birth of William Green GAWF) to 1853 (birth of James Perkins GAWF) and the closest I could come on Matilda is the birth of her granddau. Mary Jane DAVENPORT in April 1852 Lawrence Co., Arkansas. Only person I can find in 1860 is Rhody CARPENTER DEAVENPORT in Richwoods, Lawrence Co, Arkansas.
Edmund named children: Rhody, Marilda, Louis. Edmund's dau. Marilda married Leonard SINGLETON (s/o James & Susan SINGLETON, James is prob. brother to Alison, father of James Patran who married James Henry GOUGH's dau. Margaret)
Matilda named children: Rhodica, Edmund
Rhodica named children: Riley, Malinda (but there are Riley STANFILLs in 1820's so may be a STANFILL name)
Lewis Riley married a Marinda, named children: Edmund, Amanda. His dau. Amanda married James Burns SINGLETON who is prob. related to the other SINGLETONs
James Henry named children: Lewis, Amanda and grandson named Louis Riley. Dau. Margaret married James Patran SINGLETON who is probably related to the other SINGLETONs.
1830 Henderson Co., TN
Henry GAWF one male 20-30 (Henry was 21)
one male 15-20 (Lewis? he was 19)
female 20-30 (Matilda? she was 21, her 1st child b. 1832, Rodica's b. in 1831 so Rodica's probably married)
female 40-50 (?mother?)

Josiah CURTIS, Daniel HUNTER, Edmund GOUGH, Robert LONG, Robert LONG (possible parent of Jane & Sarah LONG GOFF), David MABERRY, Thomas STANFILL (father-in-law of Rodica GOFF), Jacob STANFILL, John STANFILL James LONG, Elizabeth HEFLEY, Henry STANFILL, Daniel MABERRY
(no CARPENTER's listed, Lewis is probably living with James Henry GOFF)

Edmund Gauf, March 20, 1854.
(could John have been the adopted father of the BARLOW/GOFFs?)
Rhodicia named a son "Riley" Taylor STANFILL. Lewis GOFF's middle name is probably "Riley". Henry GOUGH has a grandson named Louis Riley GOUGH.
