      Frances A. Clark Romaine, 95, of Owensboro, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Carmel Home. She was born on July 5, 1917 in West Louisville, Kentucky to the late Phillip Ernest Clark and Theresa Hayden Clark. She attended St. Francis Academy. During World War II she was a member of the US Army Women's Army Corps. She retired from the A&P Co. in Atlanta, Ga. She was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church. She is the last surviving member of her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers Herbert, Bernard, Ernest, Thomas and Cletus Clark; sisters, Marguerite McEntire, Mary Drusie Coomes, Marietta Moore and infant sister Bernadette Clark; and many devoted nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews. Services will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the Carmel Home with the Reverend Maury Riney officiating. Burial will follow in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 a.m.to 1:00 p.m. at the Carmel Home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Carmel Home, 2501 Old Hartford, Road, Owensboro, KY 42303.
