    • Born William G. Clark, the son of William and Laura (Hayden) Clark of Kentucky, Brother Claudius Clark, C.F.X., was for 52 years a member of the Catholic order of teaching brothers, the Congregation of St. Francis Xavier, known as the Xaverian Brothers. Two of his brothers were also members of the Xaverian Brothers: Benedict, whose religious name was Brother Cletus, and Ambrose, whose religious name was Brother Silverius. Brother Silverius Clark died in 1958 and is buried at the Xaverian Brothers Cemetery in Danvers, Massachusetts. Brother Cletus Clark died in 1963, and is buried at Leonardtown.
