      Gerald F. Clements, Sr., 80 passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Heritage Center in Evansville, Indiana. He was a 6th generation retired farmer and owner/operator of a Marathon station & car wash. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Morganfield
      Gerald (Jerry) is survived by two daughters, Laura Phelps and her husband, John, of Evansville, IN and Lisa Schenk and her husband, Mike of Evansville, IN; one son, Jerry Clements and his wife, Denise, of Evansville, IN; two sisters, Susie Wood of St. Louis, MO and Agnes Hancock and her husband, Franklin, of Morganfield, KY; three brothers, Harold Clements and his wife, Jan, of Falls of Rough, KY, Walter Clements, Jr. of Bokeelia, FL; six grandchildren, Lindsey Faulconer, Brennen Schenk, Leslie Schenk, Rylei Clements, Karlei Clements and Jeannie Phelps. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Lucy Clements, two brothers Eddie Clements, Bobby Clements and one sister Anna Laura Clements.
      Friends may call from 4-8 PM Friday 11/1/2013 and 8:30 until service time Saturday at Whitsell Funeral Home. Prayers led by Father Freddie Byrd at 5:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Father Freddie Byrd, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 2, 2013 at St. Ann Church in Morganfield, KY. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery. The family would like to thank the Heritage Center, especially the staff in the Harbor unit, Heritage Hospice and the many friends who have been so supportive during Gerald's journey.
      Memorial contributions in Gerald's memory may be made to John Paul II Catholic School building fund.
