Dolores Will, 95, of Evansville passed away Monday March 10, 2014 at West Park Rehabilitation Center. She was born May 1, 1918 in Evansville to Edith (Vize) DeToro.
Dolores was stricken with polio at age 30 with 3 toddlers. After this she had her 4th child and devoted her life to her husband, Len and their children. Throughout her life she never let her disability stop her from attending her husband's coaching events at Mater Dei or her children's activities. She graduated from Memorial High School where she met her husband of 57 years. She was a life member of Holy Rosary Church and loved her Catholic faith.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Len Will, Sr. on June 6, 2000; infant daughter, Alberta; daughter, Carol Becker; brother, Joseph DeToro; sisters, Edith Smith and Ramona Barrett; great grandchildren, Felicity, Gianna and Elizabeth.
She is survived by her son, Leonard J. Will, Jr. (Maria Elena) of Albuquerque, NM; daughters, Linda Hague (Ralph) of Newburgh and Cathy Rohner (Ron) of Evansville; grandchildren, Marie, Ralph, Jr., Christine, Leonard III, Rory, Eric, Amy, Ryan, Danielle, Chuck, Dee Ann, Courtney, Dande, Chad, and Caryn; great grandchildren: Audra, Morgan, Sydney, Jack, Caleb, Isaac, Elle, Luke, Vincent, Cecilia, Emmelia, Tanner, Angel, Ana, Alexandra, Troy, Kaitlyn, Chloe, Brayden, Clara, Collin, Carter, Kaysle, Preston, Megan, Lauren, Rachel, Alisyn, Mahir, Matias, Austin, Sam, Jacie, Heidi, Holly and Adam; great great grandchildren, Kayley, Kaycie and Evan.
Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 pm Friday March 14, 2014 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville, IN 47714 with a memorial service at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue from 9:30 - 10:00 am Saturday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1301 S Green River Rd., Evansville, IN 47715.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 am Saturday March 15, 2014 at the church with Fr. Bernard Etienne officiating.
Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
