  • Notes
    • [Girten, Charles, 1819.FTW]

In Temple Heights Manor at 5420 Blue Ridge Cutoff, # 517. She lived at the Little Sisters of the Poor, north 18th St in Kansas City, Kansas, at the time of her death. She had a few health problems, diabetes, glaucoma, pacemaker, but was very sharp in her mind. Her illness and eventual death were quite quick and took the family by surprise. She enjoyed living at the Little sisters and enjoyed seeing her grandchildren. Cathy Hargitt notes that the family was not prepared for her death and it was especially hard since she was the last parent still living. She was the sole grandparent for most of the grandchildren as well.
