      Mike,
      Charles Edwin Gough was b. 1809 and d. 1862 in St. Mary's Co. He was the son of Charles Gough and Ann "Nancy" Langley and she was the dau. of Josiah Langley and Susanna Fenwick.

      Charles Gough, father of Charles Edwin Gough, was the son of George Gough (d. 1808) and Priscilla Herbert.

      Charles Gough (I have his birth date as 5/4/1752) was the son of Charles Gough, Jr. and his wife, Ann Egerton as was George Gough (who m. Priscilla Herbert). I have no record of Charles Gough (b. 5/4/1752) after 1753 and assume he died young. None of them went to KY. Linda Reno

      After my debts are paid, my Executors are to set aside a good and sufficient maintenance for my aunt, Elizabeth Gough, during her life which is to be free from incumberances. The debts of my father, George Gough, are to be paid and my wife's third taken out.

      Children: Joseph Gough, Mary Gough, and Charles Edwin Gough, the residue of my estate reserving $30 equally to Reverends Francis Neale, Sylvester Boarman, and Charly Waters for the purpose of offering up Holy Sacrifices of Masses for my departed soul.

      Lead me to believe the following:

      1. George is not the son of Stephen. He was not mentioned in his will with the other 8 children.

      2. Georges 1807 will specifically states “my sister Elizabeth shall have a home provided by my son Charles.

      3. Charles 1809 will states “my Aunt Elizabeth Gough shall be free of all encumbrances and debts of my father George Gough.

      4. Stephen had no daughter Elizabeth.

      5. For some reason Charles Gough III is in wrong generation.

      Taking everything into consideration, I believe the original decendent list in the Tercententary is wrong. I believe my decendent list is as follows:
