    • Jim served in World War II. He entered the Army on June 14, 1943 and left the Army on August 3, 1945. He was a private first class and his serial number was 35756395. He was a rifleman class 745. He was in the 4th Division and got hit in the leg after 4 days. He spent time in the hospital in Europe for some time and then came home.

      Worked as a mechanic in a Ford garage in Morgantown.
