      BURIED AT ST CHARLES
Following an illness of heart trouble and other complications, Miss Eliza Abell passed away Saturday night at 11:15 o'clock at the home of her brother, Lum Abell, 7 1/2 miles Northwest of this city. Although she had been in poor health for more than a year, her condition did not become serious until about two weeks prior to her death.

Mrs. (sic) Abell was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Abell, who preceded her to the grave several years ago. She was born October 8, 1878 and had spent all of her life in the house where she died. She was a devout member of the Catholic Church and died fully fortified by its rites. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. J. Emmett Flanagan of this city; a brother, Lum Abell, at whose home she succumbed, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock Monday morning at St. Mary by the pastor, Rev. Fred W. Dudine, and burial was in the church cemetery.

The pallbearers were Hamilton Blandford, Ed Abell, Joe Will Thompson, Roy Avritt, Bernard Flanagan and Emmanuel Mattingly.
