Notes - I'm trying to find the family of my great-uncle, FRANK GORIN GOUGH (whom I never knew). His parents, both born in KY, were HENRY GORIN GOUGH and SUSAN CLARA REEVES. FRANK was born ca 1887-88 in Clarksville, Red River Co., TX, and died in late January 1967 in Hackensack, Bergen Co., NJ. He is believed to have left home at an early age. At different times, he lived in New York City, Newark, Bogota, and Hackensack, NJ. I have been told he was severely hearing-impaired. His wife was named BRIDGET, and I think she was born in Ireland. They were Roman Catholic. They had one daughter, MARY (MAY). MAY GOUGH married a man whose surname was FRANCIS (his first name may have been EUGENE). I believe MAY GOUGH FRANCIS had a son named ROBERT (BOB) FRANCIS, who attended Paterson State College, and was a star baseball pitcher in college. She may also have had a daughter, DOLORES FRANCIS. When FRANK GORIN GOUGH died, according to his obituary in The Bergen Record, he was survived by his daughter, MARY FRANCIS, four unnamed grandchildren, and two unnamed great-grandchildren. His funeral was handled by J. Rocciola Funeral Home of Hackensack, and a High Requiem Mass was celebrated at Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Hackensack on 28 January 1967. FRANK GORIN GOUGH and his wife, BRIDGET, are buried in Calvary Cemetery in Woodside, Queens Co., NY. Any help finding these relatives would be very much appreciated.
