I saw somewhere where you had asked for pictures of the head stones for something concerning DAR. Did you ever happen to get them? Thanks, Josh

Ok guys....this is what I think I've found. I called up my grandmother's sister who is still living but has a bad memory and talked to her for a while about the Gough side of our family in Indiana. She said her father was not a "nice person" so she was trying to forget him. I guess you never know what kind of skeleton's you're going to dig up when you go digging too deep. She did manage to verify a few things for me which I verify I'm on the right trail.

Pretty much that entire branch died in Indiana in Daviess County
There is only one James Francis which is listed in the Barr Township
Daviess County census for this year range who is even close to the correct age.
I have a copy of the land grant that shows the father of of Stephen T. Gough (Ignatius Gough) getting land in 1820

Also if you'd like any of the census files or anything I have mentioned in here I can gladly email you a copy.

I think I'm going to take a trip to Indiana to visit some of these cemeteries I might come back with pictures.
