Some additional Data. Judith Burger and Linda Reno:
John Baptist Gough was deceased prior to March 11, 1755 based on this record:
3/11/1755-4/17/1755: Admin. accts. of John Baptis Gough, SMC. Appraisers: Kenelm Boult, John Haskins. Creditors: John Baptist Buckman, Philip Key. NOK: Peter Gough and Elizabeth Daft. Exec: Robert Yates (I believe this is an error, it should read Thomas Yates--the only Robert Yates around at this time was from Charles County).

MARYLAND PROBATE RECORDS, PREROGATIVE COURT ABSTRACTS, 1755-1763, p. 9,
John Baptis Gough 2.33 D SM L57.9.11 Oct 25 1756
Sureties: Thomas Yates, Sr., Henry Jarboe
Distribution to: Widow (unnamed, 1/3). Residue to (equally): James Gough, John Baptist Gough.
Administrator: Thomas Yates.
Bottom line: John Baptist Gough died prior to 3/11/1755 leaving his wife (whose name we don't know, but who married second Thomas Yates) and two sons, e.g., James Gough, b. 1754 and John Baptist Gough, b. 1755, both of whom were living as late as 1756.
