    • Dear Michael, I'm looking for data on the Weiss family of Evansville. My great aunt Lydia was married to Milton Gough and lived on Mary St. I'm looking for Caroline's bible? Also, need Bethel Evangelical church record of Jacob and Caroline' marriage- have civil record-1857. Also looking for Jocob's naturalization- have copy of intent filed in 1856. Went Darmstadt, GR, in DEC' 04, but found nothing. Hope you can help. Regards, Ralph Carl Weiss

  • Notes
    • Joseph died at the Little Sisters of the Poor in Evansville, IN. The little sisters are across the school yard from my house. My mother met him about 1960 at the the Voting Precinct. He didn't mention it but he was my father's Half-GrandUncle. He was admitted to the Little Sister's on 5/15/1957. His parents were Benj Gough and Ann Fenwick Gough. He was born on 5/27/1876 in UnionTown, KY and died on 6/2/1960 of a stroke.

He listed his niece Mrs. Roy L. Elfriech who lived at 533 S. Fares, Phone number HA 44012

According to a nephew, they attended church separately at their respective traditions. Their nephew said that they survived by horse race betting.

I think that Cloey Lucille Gough could be their daughter but I do not have a birth certificate. I believe that Cloey needs to be with parents.
