Is Matilda the sibling of Lewis Riley, Edmund (mrd Jane LONG) & James/William Henry (mrd Sarah LONG) & Rhodica (mrd Lawrence STANFILL)? They are all born around the same time and lived in the same area of 1840/50 Henderson Co., TN. Many of their children have the others first names. Yes, as proven by autosomal DNA.

Virginia Lee is a direct maternal desc. of Matilda's. If we can ever find a desc. of Rodicia GAWF STANFILL, we could test our theory they were sisters. Good article on that idea: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/%7Ewrhurst/lindsey-kelly/catherinekellyparents.htm
Virginia Lee is FtDNA kit 90063 Haplogroup H7b5 (Helen Carpenter Godwin has access, I have access on my Dell laptop). Camelia, desc. of Charlotte Gawf Tarver is HVR1 Haplogroup. So they don't share a maternal line but Charlotte could be an aunt to Matilda.
