      Michael, thanks for the quick reply.

      Mathias Gough and Mary Catherine O'Nan are definitely my great-grandparents. They changed their name to Goff somewhere along the way. According to their headstone and other records, I have the following dates for them:

      Mathias (Gough) Goff b: Mar 25, 1829; d. Mar 7, 1918
      +Mary Catherine O'Nan b. May 23, 1834; d. Nov 23, 1923

      Based on the birth year difference and father of "James" listed on Mathias' death certificate rather than "George", I think I'll need to dig deeper to find out which Gough/Nevitt parents are correct.

      Do you have any suggested sources for additional information?

      Mathias and Mary Catherine O'Nan Goff/Gough are buried at Mater Dolorosa cemetery in Owensboro, Ky (Daviess County). Next to them is a Nannie, wife of Andrew Goff, b. Jan 14, 1842; d. May 28, 1877. I thought he could be the Andrew on your list as Mathias' younger brother, son of George Gough and Sarah Nevitt. It also occurred to me that "Nannie" could be another O'Nan relative, as I've noticed that nickname on another O'Nan that was in Henry County, KY. I have photos of these graves and several others of my line who are in Owensboro cemeteries.
