      Thanks Mike: He was my Nephew. You met his mother in Morganfield Ky when you were in Union County. I don't remember if his father (My brother) was living then. He had a small knot develop behind his ear a couple of years ago' - It was a cancer and is spread throughout his body. He really suffered these last two years. He was one of the few Gough's that didn't drink and saved every dime he could. His wife worked and every dime she made went into the bank. I am sure she will be able to use it now.

      Ronald M. Gough, 60, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at
      his home.

      Ron was employed at Whirlpool Corporation for 28 years where he worked as a
      Preventive Maintenance Engineer. He was a member of St. Philip Catholic
      Church and a graduate of Murray State University. He enjoyed fishing,
      archery, gardening, woodworking and making custom knives.

      He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Leslie (Bent) Gough; his daughter,
      Andrea Gough of Evansville; his son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Jennifer
      Gough of Sacramento, CA.; and his mother, Imogene (Turner) Gough of
      Morganfield, Ky.

      Also surviving are two sisters, Karen (Greg) Stimatz of Richmond, Texas and
      Lita (Ed) Schmitt of Mercerville, NJ; three brothers, Bill (Ruth) Gough,
      Denny (Becky) Gough and Keith Gough, all of Morganfield, Ky.; a grandson,
      Elliott Gough and several nieces and nephews.

      He was preceded in death by his father, John M. Gough, Jr.

      Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2009, at St.
      Philip Catholic Church, 3500 S. St. Philip Road, Mt. Vernon, IN., Rev. Thomas
      Kessler officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in
      Morganfield, Ky.

      Friends may visit with the family from 2 until 8 p.m. today at Pierre Funeral
      Home where a memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Friends may also visit
      with the family from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at St. Philip
      Catholic Church.

      The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Browning, Dr. Donald Miller and
      Deaconess Hospice for their care and attention extended to Ron. A very
      special thanks to our niece, Cherie Blom for her help and support during
      Ron's illness.

      The family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's
      Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or University of
      Louisville Foundation Melanoma Research Fund, where checks may be made
      payable to University of Louisville with Ron Gough in the memo line.
