Notes - I found Susan Mahala Burch Gough Wayne in Union County, Kentucky. My sister and I found the Marriage Bond and Certificate for her Grandaughter, Susan Melinda Gough in the UnionCo Court House. It was dated August 1879, W. H. Gough Signed for her not her father Benedict (He may have still been in Daviess County, Ky.). I got the 1880 Census and found the following entry:
1563 Wayne, Susan W F 64
Francis W M 26 Son Farmer
Gough, Henry W M 43 Son "
Cissell, Harriet W F 70 70
Susan married Robert Wayne after William Henry Gough, Sr. died. This Henry Gough's age is correct to be her son, William Henry Gough, Jr.
Fought at Shiloh, Vicksburg, Baton Rouge, Murfreesboro, Jackson, Chickamauga, Mission Ridge, Rocky Face Gap, Resaca and Dallas; was captured at Kennesaw Mountain, June 1864 and detained in prison until the end of the war.
Given the above combat information, I believe he is buried at Pewee Valley Cemetery in Pewee Valley, Oldham County, Kentucky:
