Notes - Funeral services for Parker Greenwell, 69, of Granbury will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12, 2005 at Acton Baptist Church. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, 2005 at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Acton Cemetery.
It is requested memorials be donations to Christmas for Children in Hood County.
Mr. Greenwell was born Sept. 27, 1935 in Morganfield, Ky. to Francis Joseph and Vivian Dyer Greenwell.
He served in the Navy in the Korean War. He married Wanda Jane Pruitt June 28, 1980 in DeSoto. He retired after 38 years with the Army Corps of Engineers. He was human resource director for the Southwest Division.
He was a Catholic.
Survivors are his wife, Wanda Greenwell of Granbury; children and spouses, Vivian Greenwell of Rockwall, Richard and Deborah Greenwell of Mansfield, Donna and Burt Burton of Flower Mound, Sandra and Rick Agolia of St. Louis, Mo., Kristi and Keven Crawford of San Antonio, Bobby and Jessica Greenwell stationed at Fort Huachuca, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters and spouses, Jerry and Jeri Greenwell of Bethel, Me., Joe and Etta Greenwell of Morganfield, Ky., Jenette and Jerry Willett of Buckhannon, W.Va., Faye and Bob Greenwell of Sturgis, Ky. and Mary Monarch of Sturgis, Ky.; and nieces and nephews.
