Mrs. Alvey was preceded in death by her husband Herman Alvey; one daughter Mildred Lively; and one son, Bobby Alvey. Survivors include a son Roger Alvey of Avondale, Ariz.; one sister Regina Wedding of Morganfield; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday, July 19, at St. Ann Catholic Church with Rev. Gerald Baker officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
