Keep this in mind concerning Ms. Donnelly's books: Good for clues, not for facts.
Dorothy Heard, daughter of MATTHEW Heard and Margaret Leigh, married William Gough in St. Mary's Co., April 15, 1800. William Gough was deceased by 1820 when Dorothy was listed as head of household. At least one of her children, if not more, moved to Baltimore.
