  • Notes
    • I think that Charles Gough, d. 1753 married Ann Herbert, daughter of Francis Herbert and wife, Elizabeth (some say she was Elizabeth Head). One of the NOK of Charles Gough was Cuthbert Herbert who had a sister named Ann. Francis Herbert died in 1754, leaving a will, not naming all of his children. His administration accounts, in 1757, list his daughter, Ann Fenwick. Ann had married 1753-1757, Cuthbert Fenwick. Ann died by 1759 (she wasn't named in the will of her mother, Elizabeth Herbert. Cuthbert Fenwick died in 1762, no wife; no issue. This is not too far fetched because Jane Herbert, sister of Ann Herbert, married George Fenwick, brother of Cuthbert Fenwick. Linda
