Notes - Austin Mattingly was living two houses from John and Charlotte Bobb in the 1850 Census.
In 1870 John Lavisa from Italy was living with A. D. Mattingly.
Moved to Vichesburg (Vicksburg), Mississippi. Each of his known children were born in Mississippi and he and Mary appear together on the 1850 census. Austin appears with his children in 1860 but in 1870 he is living alone. He is found in Vicksburg, Warren County, Mississippi during each record. The 1910 census of Vicksburg shows a 45 year old Austin D. Mattingly with 18 boarders residing in his home but this is obviously not the same man. I do however, suspect there is a relationship as yet not discovered. This unknown A. D. Mattingly was born in Kentucky during 1861 and married Alice J. Bobb in Adams County, Mississippi on 9-18-1891.
