Charles Mattingly, 30, died at 11:10 A.M. Sunday at Methodist Evangelical Hospital. He lived at 311 E. 23d, Chicago Heights, IL. Mattingly, a Louisville native, moved to Chicago Heights, eight years ago. He returned here in January after becoming ill with a kidney ailment. He was employed at the Ford Motor Company in Chicago. Surviving are his wife, the former Jessie Dolan; a daughter, Sharon; a son, Walter; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Mattingly; three sisters, Mrs. Buddy King, St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Milford Ramser and Mrs. Herbert Ramser; and two brothers, Joseph and Ronnie Mattingly. The body will be at Arch L. Heady Funeral Home, 1201 E. Oak, after 2 P.M. Monday.
