      I have a copy of a marriage bond between Benj. GOFF and Mrs. Susan J. Monarch surety by D. McGill and signed with the name of Dennis or David (?) McGill dated 21st day of October 1857.

      I have the marriage books at home and I found the marriage to his 2nd wife.

      Benedict J. Gough, 27, farmer, 2nd marriage, b. Meade Co., KY resident Daviess Co. KY. To Juliann M. Fenwick, 23, (parents Breckinridge Co.) John O. Clark, bondsman; to be married December 28, 1864 at Hardinsburg.

      His marriage to Susan McGill will probably be in Meade Co. and she probably is buried in a Meade Co. Cemetery. The McGill's in Breckinridge Co. are buried in St. Romuald Catholic Church Cem. So I'm thinking St. Theresa's Catholic Church Cem. in Meade Co. or it could be Daviess Co. since he was a resident. we have books on both counties. If you want a copy of the marriages I will need your snail mail address send it to the archives e-mail breckarc@bbtel.com that way it will stay private.

      Per my records,
      I have a copy of Martha Ellen "Ella" Monarch Alvey's death certificate and it states that her mother was Susan McGill. Martha was born June 2,1848 in Daviess Co. Lots of McGills running around Daviess Co about that time.
