Notes - Mike, A Family Group Sheet for Thomas McGill b/1791-1845 is attached. All these children except for William A. and Mary Ann were named in a letter dated 1936 to a Jennie Guff (sic) from a niece of Thomas Jefferson Gough and Christina McGill.
William A. McGill b/c1819-1844 is included as a son of Thomas because he is buried at St. Theresa's where Thomas is Buried. Mary Ann McGill 1816-1843 is also included for the same reason. I admit, that's a little weak but I'm quite sure they are grandchildren of Joseph McGill and Rachael.

This is in my database, a great deal from Rootsweb:
Serilda Catherine (Kitty) Greenwell, daughter of Benedict Greenwell and Mariah Gough, was born about 1825, died unknown. She married 1st to William A. McGill 1843 and 2nd to Milton J. Greenwood before 1847. I gather that Mr. McGill died. Parents of Benedict are Bennett and Mary Ann Wheatley Greenwell and parents of Mariah are John Baptist Gough and Mary Medley. Good Luck!
St. Teresa Marriage Register Book, 1831-1911 consisting of copies of the book. Hard to read and a lot of first part in Latin.
Has index so have made copies of all references to McGill. Here is what I have so far;
Nov 4th or 8th 1841 Joseph McGill to Elizabeth Simms (this must be Joseph s/o Richard born c1819)
Jan 25th 1842 Joanna Helen McGill to William Elder (Joanna is witness to a dozen or so baptismal records in St. Lawrence book, so must belong to this family somewhere.)
May? 23, 1843 William A. McGill to Catherine Greenwell (must be son of Thomas, born c 1819)
Sept 7, 1846 Francis Beaven to Elizabeth McGill. (must be dau of David, born Nov. 29, 1824)
Nov. 14 1846 Catherine McGill to Milton Greenwood, (Meade Co Marriage records list as Mrs. Catherine McGill, widow, so must be Catherine Greenwell McGill who married William A. McGill. William died Feb 18, 1844)
