    • She was the daughter of Thomas Monarch and his wife Amanda Catherine, nee Mattingly.

      She was baptized on June 11, 1861 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Daviess County, Kentucky. The name used in this memorial is from the baptismal record.

      She married Malicious Gonzaga Howard about 1879. The couple had been married 21 years at the time of the June 1, 1900 census. They had 12 children, 8 of whom were living on April 15, 1910, when the family was enumerated.

      Her death certificate cause of death appears to read acute heart exhaustion. She also had interstitial nephritis.

      She was buried in St. Joseph Cemetery on November 16, 1942.
