      Here are some more references from Timothy O'Rourke's book "Maryland
      Cathloics on the Frontier"

      Henry Jetson Rhodes, son of Cornelius Rhodes and Anastasia Mattingly buried
      in Perry Co, MO on Mar 9, 1844 married Matilda Moore, dau of James Moore, Jr
      who was b. St Mary's Co, MD 1/19/1779 d. Perry Co, MO 2/23/1816 m. Lucy
      Welmore in Nelson Co, KY on 2/2/1802 (she died 5/1821). Matilda was b.
      3/16/1803 in Perry Co, MO and d. bef 5/1841 They had three children, Julia
      Ann, Sarah Ann and Lucy Ann. There is more on the descendants of Henry
      Jetson Rhodes and Matilda Moore.

      After Matilda died, Henry Jetson married Sarah Elizabeth Moore, dau of Martin

      Isaac Moore and Ann Riney in Perry Co, MO on 5/3/1841. Sarah Elizabeth b.
      7/23/1824 Perry Co, MO. They had one son Cornelius b. 9/10/1843 Perry Co, MO.

      I rechecked the date, that is what the book days. Sarah remarried 4 more
      times after Henry died.

      Elizabeth Rhodes, dau of Cornelius Rhodes and Anastasia Mattingly m. Peter
      Tucker on 8/27/1828 in Perryville, Perry Co, MO. He was the son of Joseph
      Tucker and Frances Drury b. abt 1769 in VA d. 12/24/1845, Perry Co, MO.
      Peter Tucker first married a Christina Hagan in Nelson Co, KY on 5/8/1794 and

      had 10 children by 1817. Peter and Elizabeth Rhodes had 5 children who are
      also listed in this book.

      The book also lists this paragraph on Cornelius Rhodes: "Cornelius Rhodes,
      son of Abraham Rhodes and Mary Gauft was born about 1772. He married first
      Anastasia Mattingly as a daughter Elizabeth was born by 1805. He next
      married 10/31/1807, Margaret Clark(e) in St Mary's Co, MD. Then he married
      thirdly Oct 1, 1830, Mary Magdalene (Riley) Wimsatt, dau of Henry Riley and
      Jane Bubberly and widow of Joseph Zachariah Wimsatt. Cornelius died in Perry
      Co, MO 5/24/1844. Bond was furnished for the administration of his estate
      #269 on Jul 3, 1844. His widow Mary died 12/8/1851 abt age 80. She stated
      her age as 55 at the time of her mariage to Cornelius Rhodes. The estate of
      Cornelius Rhodes listed heirs: Robert, res KY; John, Sylcarius and William,
      res Louisiana; Henry J, decd; Joseph; Polly wife of Benedict Tucker, and
      Margaret, res Perry Co, MO. The surname Gauft was not found in St Mary's Co,
      MD but Gough was common in the St Inigoes congregation. The surname Bubberly
      may have been a garbled version as its origin could not be determined".
