      Floyd Elto Siler is my 2nd cousins 1 time removed. Our common ancestors are Solomon Siler and Susannah Bray. Or to say it another way, Floyd Elto’s grandfather, Jesse R Siler, was the brother of my great grand father, Horace Wilburn Siler.

      I am researching these particular Siler’s because I am trying to finish a book on the Siler’s that migrated from NC to west TN. Jesse R Siler migrated to western TN in 1859. Horace Wilburn Siler migrated between 1880 and 1883. These two were only part of the nine that migrated to western TN.

      Jesse Leander Siler was the father of Floyd Elto Siler.
