  Crossing the Dark River, Henderson Co., TN, Obituaries 1827-1950 by Brenda Kirk Fiddler McCORMACK, Nancy Jane p. 389 McCORMACK, Nancy Jane (The Lexington Progress, May 15, 1936) Like a merciful benediction death came to relieve the excruciating sufferings of Miss Nancy Jane McCORMACK, aged 64 years. She was born September 1, 1871 and breathed her last April 20, 1936 at the home of her brother, Will McCORMACK near Sheppard's Store. A daughter of the late Green MCORMACK, who preceded her to the grave September 15, 1930, ad Rebecca McCORMACK, she was never married and lived with her father until his death, and since then with her brothers and sisters. She is survived by brothers and sisters, Will of Sheppard's, Lee of Enville, Norah, Jim of near Stegall, and John of Center Hill, and Mrs. Arbie BRITTON of near Piney. Two sisters and one brother died in infancy. Rev. James KENNEDY conducted the funeral service at Center Hill Church with intermnent in the nearby cemetery.
