      Charles "Charlie" Vaden Willett, Jr., 61, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 in Wadesville, Indiana.

      Charlie was born in Evansville, Indiana on February 13, 1956 to the late Charles Vaden and Josie (Cavendar) Willett. He graduated from Reitz High School and retired from Alcoa after 42 years of service. Charlie enjoyed fishing, camping and working crossword puzzles. He loved spending time with his family especially his children and grandchildren.

      Charlie is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda (Rickard) Willett of Evansville, IN; sons, Matt Willett (Ashley) of Jackson, TN, Josh Willett (Kim) of Evansville, IN; sisters, Barbara Eberhard (Art) of Evansville, IN, Sherry Herrenbruck (Eugene) of Wadesville, IN, Vickie Austin (Phil) of Tallahassee, FL; grandchildren, Austin, Allie, Addy, Caden, Hank and Nora Willett.

      Charlie was preceded in death by his parents.

      Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 24, 2017 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711.

      Friends may visit from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Browning Funeral Home.
