      Decye Goff Edwards, 88, of Michie, died Sunday, March 17, at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Houston Goff and Tina Shea Goff, and was united in marriage to Whitney Edwards, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Edwards received her masters degree in education from Mississippi State University. She was a school teacher for 41 years and was a member of Hardin County Retired Teachers Assoc. and Retired Tennessee Teachers Assoc. She was a member of Oak Hill Christian Church and taught Sunday School for many years. Services were held Tuesday, March 19, at Oak Hill Christian Church in Michie with Ray Graham and Malcolm George officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Church Cemetery. Mrs. Edwards is survived by nephews and nieces. She was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
