Notes - Evansville - Teresa M. Nelson 92, of Evansville, IN passed away on December 15, 2020 at Good Samaritan Home in Evansville. She was born January 5, 1928 to the late Harry R. and Helen (Willett) Williamson.
A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, member of the choir and former member of The American Postal Worker Union Auxiliary and former member of the Lloyds Senior Citizens Center.
Survived by three daughters, Judith Ann Frankenberger, Linda Jewel (Mark) Kenoyer of Evansville and Anita Marie Van Nevel (Rich) of Manhattan, Kansas. Seven sons, Ronald Lee (Linda), Michael Keith (Lyndra),Charles Eugene (Karen) and Andrew Ray (Paula) of Evansville, John Alan (Christie) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Robin Wayne (Delynn) of Rose Hill, Kansas. Twenty-nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. Sister Mary Jane Judd and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jewel L. Nelson, son James Alfred and infant son Thomas Louis. Son-in-law William Frankenberger, four sisters Bernadett, Esther, Frances and Rosanne. Two brothers Thomas and Joseph.
Teresa loved to sing, read, and sew, crafting, bowling and spending time with family. Her door was always open.
A visitation will be from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Miller and Miller Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St. Evansville, IN 47711, (812) 424-9274. A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 20 at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 21, 2020 at All Saints- St. Joseph Catholic Church, 600 E. Virginia St., Evansville, IN 47711 with Father Gene Schroeder presiding and visitation from 9:30 a.m.- 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Evansville.
