    • Mike,
Mary Daily who married John Amos Mattingly, was the daughter of Bennett Daily and Susannah Mattingly

Sarah Jane Rhodes who married William Albin Mattingly was the daughter of Cornelius Rhodes and Anastasia Mattingly

Don's uncle, Joseph F. "Joe" Mattingly who also lived in Evansville before he death was deeply into Mattingly genealogy and was a great friend of mine. He wrote the book on Joseph "The Wheelwright" Mattingly and Hessina Hinton. Before he died he brought his nephews to Marion Co. so he could show them all the places he could remember as a child before moving to Evansville and on his summer time visits as a boy and a teenager. They stopped by my house and spent some time with me. Joe was fairly close kin to my husband's family.
