This week we are highlighting United States Marriages on Find My Past, a subscription website. You can register for a free account to search their detailed US marriage database. If you do not have a subscription, you may want to check with your local library. From their website:

You can click on the image to view the collection. There are tens of thousands of results for GGFA surnames. For paid members, many have links to images of the actual records.

I hadn’t looked at this collection before. To check it out I thought I would see what I could find for my Goff line. In the eight generations from my grandparents back to Anthony Goff and Sarah Polley in Massachusetts, there were records for six of the marriages, with images for five!
